Hello,

I have installed the league results component, created a season, clubs, teams, players, added players for to teams and put all fixtures and some results in but I am strugglying to make a league table from this.

I have had a play around and can use the "Generate table and positions" and it makes a table but when i create a menu item for that table and view it from the front end it shows the table headdings i.e. position, team, wins etc but does not populate it with the teams and i am at a lost end as to how to do this.

It should not happen...

The display described you can get when table id is wrong, but this id is set from the list...So probably it fails or "Latest table" parameter does not work...

Anyway, the simple way to check where is the error is to try the link:

yourdomainaddress/index.php?option=com_lr&view=lstable&id=??

It calls the LR component, lstable view of ?? table. At the back end, go to Tables screen and see the id of the created table. Put it instead of question marks and see if it works.
If it does probably the parameters defined for that view link does not work correctly...Or...I don't know.
Check this and let me know.
The best way to play around with LR component is to load sample data. It works at my demo pages and I always test it before releasing package.

I did what you said and put the table id at the end of the address and still got the blank table.

If i manually add a table position from Table positions -> new table position i get the teams come up on a table like this

This is all very well, but I thought that the system would generate the table from the results i put in?

I dont know if it matters or not but i have nothing entered in the porints format field of the table and the table results date is after the date for the fixtures I have put in.

Hi Lynas,

I think you did not set up some attributes of the season and that's why you get empty table.

Script generating the table makes it in 3 steps.
First creates the header of the table visible in Tables screen (you've got it).
Second creates all table position with 'standard' sorting (you missed it)
Third makes ranking adjustments - exists in v.0.8.0 - solves equal points standings.

Looks like the scond stage fails because of something missing.
Usually users miss to set the season attribute: Points logic type like UEFA, NBA etc.
